Find out how to submit your request, the supporting documents required, and the various ways to send your case to the Mediator.

Who can contact the Mediator?

Have you sent your complaint to the Défenseur des droits, the European Ombudsman or a Mediator appointed by a European rail company? Don’t worry, it will be forwarded to the SNCF Voyageurs Mediator.

How to submit your case

You can contact the Mediator online or by post, following the instructions below. Requests sent by email are not accepted and cannot be referred to the Mediator.

Having trouble?

To ensure the form works properly, we recommend using a recent web browser.

Older browser versions and Internet Explorer do not allow the form to be used securely and may cause errors when you fill in or submit your request.

If you are unable to submit your request:

  • clear your browser cache;
  • try using a private browsing window;
  • make sure your browser is up to date;
  • remember to tick the security checkbox (CAPTCHA); without this verification, the form may fail to submit.

Some elements of the website may not display correctly in an outdated browser.

Which documents should you include with your case?

Prepare your case file and include the following documents, as applicable:

Documents required in all cases

  • If you are representing another person, a copy of the power of attorney and a copy of their identity document.
  • Any documents that may help explain your request (correspondence, supporting documents, screenshots, etc.).
